I grew up in Maine, just as comfortable in coveralls and muck boots at low tide as I was sketching houses, writing poetry curled up on a screened porch, or dreaming up couture dresses. I have always sought out a way to do things more creatively, more fashionably, and with more style while staying true to my Portland roots. I have made meaningful connections along the way and I welcome the opportunity to share my world and my resources with you. Maine is in my heart and in my soul. Welcome.

I am back. I launched this website just before the pandemic struck and then hit writer’s block in the worst way. Each time I sat down to write during the past eight or is it nine? months, I lost track. I couldn’t focus. Everything I considered writing about seemed trivial, clouded by the seriousness of what was going on around us. I froze.
