Maine has some great artists and there are many places to view the art. We have galleries throughout the state and many artist have their own studios which you can visit.
Treat yourself to all that is there.
I often go into people’s homes and am stunned by so many beautiful rooms with fabric and finishes and furniture, all stylish and tasteful, only to see that the walls which are screaming for art are bare. Take some time to get to know the work of local artists and invest in artwork. These treasures will bring joy into your home and add color and intrigue, making your space unique. Don’t just buy something to fill the wall. Wait until your eye catches something you truly love.
